Full Screen Snake Game
A simple snake game that fills your whole screen. Tap ⛶ or press F for full screen, then eat the apples, grow, and don't crash.
- One tap to go full screen, and again to exit
- Classic rules, no power-ups, no ads
- Smooth on Chromebooks and older laptops
- Works offline after the first visit
Why play snake full screen?
Full screen snake uses your whole display for the board, so every cell is bigger and turns are easier to time, especially on Fast or on a small laptop screen. It's the same classic snake game: 20 × 20 grid, +10 points per apple, and a speed-up every 5 apples.
Full screen also hides tabs, bookmarks and notifications, so nothing distracts you mid-run. If you switch away, the game pauses itself, so you never lose a run by accident.
A simple snake game, on purpose
- Three settings only: walls or no walls, Slow/Normal/Fast, and sound on or off.
- No clutter: no ads, pop-ups, sign-ups or cookie banners on the classic game pages.
- Light: under 100 KB of code, so it loads in about a second on slow Wi-Fi and runs on low-powered devices.

FAQ
How do I play snake in full screen?
Press the ⛶ button above the board, or press F. The board grows to fill your screen. Press F, Esc or ⛶ again to exit. On iPhone, where browsers don't allow true full screen, the game fills the browser window instead.
Is this a simple snake game?
Yes. It's the classic rules with no power-ups and no ads: eat the apple, grow, and don't hit the walls or your tail. There are only three settings (walls, speed, sound), all above the board.
Does it work on a Chromebook or a slow computer?
Yes. The whole game is under 100 KB of plain HTML5 and JavaScript, so it runs smoothly on low-powered Chromebooks, older laptops and phones, and works offline after your first visit.
Is there a download?
No download, plugin or account. You can install it as an app from Chrome or Edge if you want an icon, but that's optional.
